Type of Counselling Offered
Sapphire Wellness Counseling offers individual counselling for adults (18+) and couples counselling. Support is provided for trauma, mental health concerns, addiction, relationship challenges, life transitions, emotional regulation, and personal growth. The work is well suited for individuals navigating complex life experiences who are seeking a thoughtful and grounded space to reflect, process, and grow.
Approach / Method
The counselling approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and culturally sensitive.
Sapna is an EMDR-trained counsellor and works from an integrative framework drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness-based practices, and Motivational Interviewing. Sessions may also incorporate guided breathwork, grounding techniques, body-based awareness, and practical coping tools to support emotional regulation and daily wellbeing. Reflective practices inspired by Ho’oponopono may be gently integrated where appropriate to support compassion, accountability, and emotional release. The work is collaborative and paced with care, allowing space for meaningful exploration and growth.
What People Can Expect from a Session
Sessions offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences at their own pace. The work focuses on understanding patterns, making sense of past experiences, and building awareness of how those experiences continue to shape the present. Rather than trying to remove discomfort or avoid difficult emotions, the process supports individuals in developing a deeper relationship with themselves — strengthening emotional awareness, learning to regulate responses, and navigating life with more clarity and steadiness.
Therapy is not only about working through past experiences, but also about continuing to grow, adapt, and show up more fully in one’s life.
Session Duration
Counselling sessions are offered virtually and are available in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
Standard counselling sessions: 55 minutes
EMDR sessions: 90 minutes
